Hello! I’m Bohdana Hrechko, NUCHK Philology department student. In February 2024, I got an awesome opportunity to become a part of the international ESC volunteering project in Daruvar, Croatia and now I would be happy to share my experience with you. For the last 3 weeks we were creating workshops and English lessons for kids and youth at local schools and kindergartens, organising cultural events, board games evenings, culinary workshops and many other activities. The time there was full of work, brainstorming, learning, planning, but at the same time even more full of fun, energy, adventures, travelling and joy. This volunteering project gave me the chance to share and exchange my knowledge, improve my language and teaching skills, travel and explore Croatia, make new friends from absolutely different countries around the globe. I would definitely recommend everyone to try themselves in such international projects to gain useful experience, broaden horizons and enhance knowledge!
